Moshe Ndiki’s New Reality Show

Father of two; Moshe Ndiki sets to premiere his 13-part reality series on the 28th January 2024. ‘Life With Moshe’ will chronicle his journey as a father of twins and basically that’s about it.

Mzansi Magic is selling this reality series a ‘beyond the story’ considering that Moshe Ndiki is a black gay man who chose the path of surrogacy to start his family. ‘Life With Moshe’ will take the viewers through the challenges of modern parenting pitted against the traditional customs. Maybe Moshe Ndiki will also speak into what happened to his marriage to Phelo Bala. I imagine Phelo Bala is gonna have another emotional breakdown when Moshe starts telling his side of the story.

We saw the gay love birds quickly get married, get matching tattoos and Phelo Bala come out to say he wanted a family with Moshe Ndiki and he had gone to start this family without him. I couldn’t help but wonder if all of this is reality TV worthy. Oh! Moshe Ndiki does have that unknown boyfriend. I suppose we will get to see and know him a lil bit on the show although he doesn’t look like someone worth knowing and worth our time. Also just about anybody can get a reality show on South African television. Over the past couple of years we’ve been bombarded with reality shows that weren’t really necessary or needed. The success of ‘Being Bonang’ by Bonang Matheba subjected us to a slew of these shows. ‘Have Faith’ by Faith Nketsi is currently on its fifth season but the show is really not giving. We also saw DJ Zinhle’s reality series ‘Unexpected’ and it had been the most underwhelming, boringest shit on television. The last season of ‘Living The Dream With Somizi’ by Somizi Mhlongo literally had one storyline which was the story of Mohale. I’m sure Mohale Motaung’s back hurt from carrying that entire season. Very recently K.O premiered his reality show as well ‘Inside Life With K.O’ I don’t know one person who is watching this but hey, here we are.

Me and my friends definitely aren’t looking forward to Moshe Ndiki’s reality show because just like the rest of them, it’s gonna be underwhelming as fuck. Goodluck to everybody involved.
