Steve Madden x Bonang Matheba Collection Launch

Last night Bonang Matheba launched her second collection with Steve Madden. A journey that started last year with Bonang Matheba introducing her first Christmas collection with the international brand Steve Madden. Your favourite influencers were invited to this exclusive event to celebrate with Bonang Matheba.

The event was hosted by Zanele Potelwa who did a stellar job as a host but her yellow dress was definitely not giving. One thing about Zanele Potelwa she will wear the ugliest, cheap looking dress available.

Steve Madden and Bonang Matheba definitely pulled all the stops putting this event together. The event started with the star of the show Bonang Matheba arriving in a classic red car wearing a beautiful pink dress with a strap heel. One thing about Bonang Matheba’s feet, they were made for heels.

Bonang Matheba welcomed her guests and took them on a journey of how her collaboration with Steve Madden came about. She detailed that for this collection she traveled to New York for a week where she visited the Steve Madden headquarters and was given an opportunity to design her collection, thus making it a project closest to her heart.

There were ballerina dancers to entertain the guests and for some reason Oscar Mbo was on the decks. Were they not worried that he is gonna scam the shit out of them? I have no doubt in my mind that the bag he was seen carrying is a knock-off.

Hope Mbhele looked beautiful in a tutu skirt that she paired with a crop top. A gorgeous woman. Blue Mbombo was also in attendance wearing a red dress that looked basic AF. I couldn’t help but wonder if she has healed from the injuries she suffered from the small dress she wore at Miss South Africa finale that left her body injured with permanent scars. What does she do for a living by the way?

Reigning Miss South Africa; Natasha Joubert was wearing a gorgeous red dress, paired with beautiful make-up. I still don’t understand how she won Miss South Africa. You gonna remember that a couple of years back she represented South Africa at the Miss World stage where she performed poorly just like Shudufhadzo Musida. At the time she was a plus size model. What a joke my darling, and also somebody get that crown back from her while we at it. Undeserving,

Miss Supranational 2022; Lalela Mswane was also on attendance. She was spotted wearing a Strictly Come Dancing dress that reminded me of a cha-cha-cha. She absolutely had no business wearing this dress. While we are at the pageant queens, Miss South Africa 2022; Ndavi Nokeri was wearing a purple matric dance dress that looked cheap AF. Absolutely hated it. Former Miss South Africa contestant Thando Mfundisi was wearing an ugly black and white situation. In my mind I thought, bekayaphi?

Obviously the gays attended. Mohale Motaung served one of my favourite looks for the night. The Birth of Stars girlies were also spotted with Kamo having worn a rather nice white top paired with white lace leggings that reminded me of my grandmother’s curtain and honestly I don’t even think talentless Miriam Makeba would’ve worn these leggings at her prime or if ever. Coachella Randy wearing black pants with a white shirt and a black jacket. There was no look here, the wig was very hlebi. Do you think he is still squatting by Orapeleng Modutle’s place? The Michelle of the group was in pink pants and a pink cut-out top purchased at Marabastad. Do these gays ever wear anything else besides these cut-outs?

Yaya Mavundla wore a red jumpsuit situation that looked gorgeous, also one of my favourite looks for the night. Obsessed. Fat-ass Tumi Powerhouse was in a blue peplum situation that was giving Soweto aunt. Basic look, totally didn’t give a fuck about it. Tshepi Vundla also attended wearing a silver skirt and a black bodysuit. Her looks are always underwhelming, wasn’t she a personal shopper and stylist? What a scam.

A bunch of unknown influencers that nobody cares about also attended including Siya Bunny. We also won’t get to their looks since nobody knows and cares for them.

The Steve Madden x Bonang Matheba designed Collection is now available online for pre-order. In store from November 9th 2023.
